Melvin Chan Wai Leong

Melvin Chan is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Ellipsiz Ltd since 4 Jan 2008.

He has more than two decades of experience in the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industry as well as regional business experience in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, China and India. He began his career as engineer in 1987 at Hewlett Packard and thereafter Motorola in 1989. He joined Electronic Resources Limited (ERL) in 1990 as the Regional Sales and Marketing Manager where he was responsible for operations, strategic investments, marketing and business developments in Asia Pacific region. Thereafter, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of ERL in 1994. Following the acquisition of ERL by Ingram Micro in 1999, Mr. Chan was appointed Vice President (Asia Pacific) where he headed the operations and strategic programs. He joined iNETest Resources in 2002 as Managing Director ands has continued to head iNETest Resources until his appointment as CEO of Ellipsiz.

Mr. Chan holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree from the National University of Singapore.
